Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) 20th November 2013 Although now more accepted within some communities, Transphobia is still very high, with many still being killed and many being brutally beaten each year. TDoR is not only a day of remembering those we have lost, but to remind us much stronger the community is. Since it was first created as an online group in 1998 by Gwendolyn Ann Smith, it is now a day of remembrance in 185 cities across the world.
