POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to an alleged assault in a city club which left one man without sight in his right eye and another with a large head wound.
The incident took place on the top floor of Zero's nightclub, in Lockyer Street, at around 4am on November 11, 2012. Detectives said that during the incident in what is referred to as the 'top bar' a 34-year-old male member of staff received a large wound to his forehead. In addition a 42-year-old man suffered an injury to his right eye which has caused him the loss of sight in that eye. Investigators have said the injuries to both men would have been clearly visible immediately following the incident.
