On Saturday 29 June set against the stunning natural backdrop of Plymouth Sound, Plymouth will be hosting a Armed Forces Day Event on Plymouth Hoe.
15th June- 16th June Plymouth in Fashion
The Plazza, City Centre
This will provide a unique opportunity to see the Armed Forces up-close and will feature displays from current personnel, veterans, cadet forces, support agencies and charities.
Showcasing the latest high street fashion from Plymouth stores such as House of Fraser, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer and Moss Bros as well as many independent stores.
The focus and intention of the day is to show our‘ thanks’, raise awareness of and support for our Armed Forces community and celebrate the outstanding contribution it makes to our country.
New for this year, there will be a vintage fair in collaboration with Miss Ivy Events.
Many activities planned, so call along and join in the celebration.
24th June- 07th July Wimbledon on the Big Screen
The Plazza, City Centre
The Piazza will be adorned with grass and picket fences, to give you a true feeling of the hallowed courts of Wimbledon.
Enjoy the British summer in front of the greatest tennis players in the world. With tennis displays, refreshments and seating available, these matches offer fun for all the family and an opportunity to bring down a picnic and spend quality time with friends and family in the city centre.
