On Saturday 29 June set against the stunning natural backdrop of Plymouth Sound , Plymouth will be hosting a Armed Forces Day Event on Plymouth Hoe .
15th June - 16th June Plymouth in Fashion
The Plazza , City Centre
This will provide a unique opportunity to see the Armed Forces up-close and will feature displays from current personnel , veterans , cadet forces , support agencies and charities .
Showcasing the latest high street fashion from Plymouth stores such as House of Fraser , Debenhams , Marks and Spencer and Moss Bros as well as many independent stores .
The focus and intention of the day is to show our ‘ thanks ’, raise awareness of and support for our Armed Forces community and celebrate the outstanding contribution it makes to our country .
New for this year , there will be a vintage fair in collaboration with Miss Ivy Events .
Many activities planned , so call along and join in the celebration .
24th June - 07th July Wimbledon on the Big Screen
The Plazza , City Centre
The Piazza will be adorned with grass and picket fences , to give you a true feeling of the hallowed courts of Wimbledon .
Enjoy the British summer in front of the greatest tennis players in the world . With tennis displays , refreshments and seating available , these matches offer fun for all the family and an opportunity to bring down a picnic and spend quality time with friends and family in the city centre .
