Latin Plus...
1999 was the year of the big Latin boom in the entertainment industry. However,
while the rest of the world was celebrating our Latin heritage as well as our
amazing performers, designers and actors, in the plus size modeling industry,
nothing much was changing. Fast forward to 2015 and we can see Latina models
in all aspects of the plus size modeling and fashion industry from the most well
known like Denise Bidot and Fluvia Lacerda to fit and commercial models.

This month we celebrate plus size fashion and the accomplishments of some
(not all) amazing Latin women and men who are contributing
to the success of our industry.

Our September cover model Nadia Pena is a 12-year veteran of the plus size
modeling industry and is featured in a fall fashion editorial with
some of Fall’s most popular looks.
