What made you decide to become a plus size model?
I wanted to become a plus size model for two very good reasons.
Growing up as a bigger girl was not easy for me. I was shy,
introverted and completely uncomfortable in my own skin. The
fashion industry catered to smaller girls and women. Shopping
was not a pleasant experience for me. As I have gotten older, the
plus size industry has grown tremendously. I no longer walk into a
store wondering if I will find something that makes me look and feel
confident. Loving yourself is truly liberating, and attributes to one’s
