industry, and have helped others see how well curvy women can rock high fashionable clothes
and how amazing the plus designers are right now! This is our time to be heard! We have to keep
up with the momentum and keep encouraging designers, brands and media outlets to accept us
even more.

Who are your favorite plus designers, models, bloggers and/or celebrities?
I enjoy so many different brands! It really depends on my mood. But here are a few of my
favorites: Eloquii, Melissa McCarthy‘s line, Asos Curve, Monif C, Universal Standard, and
Forever21 +. Oh, and anything vintage. Goodwill is actually one of m y favorite stores right now.
You can find incredible pieces and totally make them new and your own! I love that! I’m inspired
by models like Denise Bidot because I love the fact she started her own brand to empower
women! That’s so awesome! We need more of that. I also look up to women like Ashley Graham,
Candice Huffine, and Tara Lynn.

I love the PLUS Model Magazine blog, The Curvy Fashionista, GabiFresh, and Nicolette Mason.
And who doesn’t love Tess Holliday? Her story is so encouraging and I love how she’s making big
strides in the industry!

Where do you see yourself in the next year?
In the plus industry I hope to have additional representation with an agency outside of Nashville
so I have the opportunity to work more. On a personal level, I plan to still be a group leader at my
church, living on a mini farm with my husband, exploring all the awesome things happening in
Nashville, and making every day count! I want to live a life where I know I’ve made a difference.
Whether that be in the world, or just in my community, it’s important to me to encourage and help
others to grow and know they are worthy of goodness. Life is hard, but we can get by if we all just
show each other a little more grace, a little more love, and a little more mercy.
