Foundation: You can get some decent foundation on a budget, but the reason I
tell you to splurge, is that you can’t test those in the drug stores. By the time you
buy a gazillion, just to find the right texture and color, you could have bought the
perfect tested shade from a department or makeup store 20 times over!
Eyeshadow Primer: A good primer will keep your eyeshadow on all day so
there’s no need to reapply. Less product wasted means buying a replacement
less often.
GO FOR THE SAVE...
Mascara: No need to spend $25 on a mascara when you can pay $8 or less and
it will work just as well.
Eyeliner: Waterproof, kohl, colorful choices...all available under $10
Eyeshadow: There are now high-pigmented shadows for less available. The
problem in the past is that all drug store eyeshadow lacked pigment. That is no
longer the case; especially with a good eyeshadow primer.
Lipsticks and glosses: There is a plethora of these.
Now see, that wasn’t so bad! And I’ve put together this list of drugstore brands that
will give you a solid place to start… Cover Girl, Maybelline, Revlon, Prestige,
Black Opal, Black Radiance, Iman, Fashion Fair, Milani, Rimmel, L’Oreal HIP,
Jordana
