Your booker (or agent) will be your new BFF!
This person will book your jobs, speak to clients on your behalf and let you
know about your castings and go-sees. If you are going away, thinking about
changing or cutting your hair, moving, etc., you must discuss this with your
booker. Anything that will affect your work as a model has to be discussed
with your booker. This will be the person that will also give you feedback
from clients so please keep an open mind. This industry is VERY competitive
and they work for you, so don’t take what they are telling you personally.
Agencies need you to test.
Most agencies will ask you to test every three months. A test can cost you
anywhere between $500 to $2000 depending on the photographer and team.
Once the test is done, a gallery of the images is sent to you and the agency.
They will choose the photos they feel are the best representation for their
