Attitude is Everything...
To me, the plus size industry is a mixture of business, inspiration, friendships, fashion
and lots of little goodies in-between. Are there pockets of drama and shade? Absolutely!
But for the most part, I find that situations resolve themselves
or we work towards a resolution.
One of the decisions I made at the top of 2016 was to try and stay in a positive place and
surround myself by positive people as much as possible. You can’t imagine the stories
I hear, the things I experience and the unfortunate things I see, so keeping this promise
has meant walking away from people and situations.
For this reason, I reached out to the #TheIGWives Sandra, Darlene and Jami. Although
I know them each separately, watching them interact together and experiencing their
genuine admiration for each other is the “attitude” we need to embrace and foster in our
industry. Check out our NYC shoot with them in this issue and our special
