Esther Sanchez Asks : When you are a model , do you have to stay a specific size ? If you are a signed model , you should stay at the size you were when you were signed . The reason is that your agency is constantly marketing you via your images . If you are sent to a casting and your card says you are a size 16 , you should not be a size 12 or 20 . The client most likely asked for that specific size .
Tara Bradley Asks : I have been trying to be a plus size model for a very long time . I have taken pictures ; submitted them to agencies and clients that I know of directly . Nothing has happened yet and it ’ s been a while . Should I give up ? I know how this feels , Tara . I ’ m sorry that you feel like your efforts have not been recognized or propelled you into a modeling career . Not knowing specifics ( age , size , height , type of images used ) I would never say give up if you feel having a modeling career is part of your journey .
