Newly signed with one of the best known plus size agencies in the US, Maxey Greene
is no stranger to the plus size modeling industry. Modeling since the age of 17, she’s
gained experience, which she is sharing with us this month along with her passion
for body positivity among young children.

How did you get started as a model?

When I was 17 years old, my mom and I were walking through the mall and we
walked by a Torrid. They were having a model search and on a whim, I entered.
I ended up winning and I shot for them a couple of times. After I graduated high
school, I wanted to focus my energy on my degree so I stopped modeling. Midway
through my junior year of college, my good friend encouraged me to try modeling
again. I sent my information to multiple agencies and eventually got signed.
