Brendan Strydom also became a plumber to help others . His advice to people wanting to get into plumbing is to “ Do the honeysucker . Always be happy with your work .” The weirdest thing he experienced as a plumber was an exploding fat trap .
Caid Rodocanachi was given the opportunity to become a plumber , and he jumped right in . He finds difficult clients and technically complicated jobs as a challenge . He says , “ Be prepared to work hard , or don ’ t come to work at all .”

Motherwell Ntando wanted to help others using a specialised skill , and this led him to plumbing . He believes one should always be true to oneself and his advice is , “ You must work hard .” |

Dylan Hull became a plumber because he feels there is always a need for one . “ It ’ s a dirty but rewarding job ,” he says . Crawling into small spaces is a challenge for him and he has found a lot of weird stuff in drains .
For Christopher Vosloo , plumbing was a family business , which he joined and never looked back . “ Everyone needs water , and
everyone needs a toilet ,” he says . He was once called out to rescue a client ’ s dentures from a drain .
Rodney Hambashe is passionate about working with his hands and feels it ’ s valuable to have a skill . “ Plumbing is a skill you have for your whole life ,” he says . “ You get to help the community .” PA
