The early years of my development with Geberit left an everlasting stamp in my brain , due to the quality , technology and finding new solutions to technical challenges and above all investing in developing people . The Geberit way was to share knowledge and promote development of its client base . As a young South African I was passionate about sharing the knowledge I had gained from my involvement with Geberit . On my return to South Africa from the UK I knew this is what I wanted to do . Umphakathi development and training was formed in 2011 and registered in 2015 . Once again Geberit stepped up to support this initiative of developing skills and we secured a partnership as tooling partner and Geberit ’ s official training partner . The Geberit way was the influence behind the Umphakathi offering of free training to anyone in Industry that wanted to learn about the amazing world of hydraulics , technology and quality products . Geberit is the industry leader that many follow and copy . It is without any doubt that our industry has grown and benefitted by the commitment and investment that Geberit continually make in the development of plumbers and plumbing companies in South Africa and throughout the world .
