ASSOCIATIONS 9
From the Executive Director

Keep on keeping on .
This year might be drawing to a close , and we are all keen to get some much-needed rest in December and to celebrate with family and friends . And while this is wonderful , and something we all need after such a busy year , I want to remind you that owning and running a business means that there is very little in the way of downtime .
We ’ ve got so many events lined up personally and professionally and it ’ s easy to lose sight of the basics of our business . Added to that , we don ’ t really ever rest at the end of the year because our services are always needed , no matter where we are on the calendar .
Take some time , while it ’ s quiet , to ask yourself if you are currently providing the best service available with compliant products . Are you trained up on health and safety ? Do you know what you need in order to run a successful business ? How is your attitude towards your clients – and towards training ?
IOPSA has so much to provide its members in terms of training and guidance . Our plumbers ’ evenings that happen monthly across the country provide a chance to network and chat to other plumbers who might have some knowledge and experience to share .
The best way to evolve our industry is to get involved with our industry .
