Follow the correct procedure to collect CPD points
There has been some confusion regarding the claiming of CPD points and Plumbing Africa registration.
Upon registration you will receive an email from Plumbing Africa which includes the following message:
CPD CLAIM CERTIFICATE
“ Please see below confirmation email confirming you have been registered to receive your Plumbing Africa print issue. Attach a screenshot of this email with your certificate to your Plumbers profile to claim your 5 CPD points.”
This is then followed by a certificate which carries a contact ID 00000( top left corner), all your details as provided on the Register to Receive form and confirms you are an active recipient of Plumbing Africa. See example on the right.
The certificate is the ONLY MEANS OF CLAIMING CPD Points. The Register to Receive form is for Plumbing Africa’ s own internal use as required by POPI Act and a copy sent to PIRB will NOT qualify to receive your CPD points.
The CPD Questionnaire, which is handled electronically mainly, continues as per normal. Complete all 11 issues and one will receive 2.75 points per annum. PA
