When Renier was in his matric year a geyser was replaced at his grandparents home and his grandfather asked the owner of Steynvaard Plumbers if Renier could come and help out. It was then and there that his love for the industry grew and led him to become a plumber. Today Renier is still working for Steynvaard as the head plumber.
