Frans van Sittert, owner of Baloo Plumbing, started the company over 25 years ago with just a bicycle and a backpack full of tools, doing repairs in his local residential area. Over the years, Van Sittert grew Baloo Plumbing into the well-established plumbing company that it is today, which serves a wide range of clients.
The company, comprising 30 employees, provides a comprehensive range of plumbing services across both domestic and commercial sectors, and specialises in investigating complex plumbing issues – developing effective, practical solutions for unusual or challenging situations. Van Sittert is a qualified, licensed plumber whose interest in the trade started from a young age. He enjoyed building and creating things with Lego, and his family often said that plumbing was one of the closest real-world professions to what he enjoyed doing – and naturally, that inspired him to pursue the trade as a career.
