Stiebel hosts team of
South Africans at ISH
Stiebel Eltron hosted a party of guests during the ISH Expo
held in Frankfurt during March. ISH is the world’s leading
trade fair focusing on the responsible management of water
and energy in buildings. It sets trends for modern bathroom
design, sustainable heating and air-conditioning technology
as well as intelligent home systems.
Sascha Altmann, managing director: Stiebel Eltron
Southern Africa, explains, “The guests were a
selected number of professionals (plumbers, wet
service engineers and consultants) with which
the company already had a good relationship
through working together on projects with them.
We wanted to use this opportunity to give them
a complete overview about the new trends in the
industry globally and the innovative solutions that
Stiebel Eltron has to offer.”
As the guests arrived at the Stiebel Eltron stand, they
were welcomed by Altmann. After a refreshment and a
common lunch on the booth, the group joined a guided
booth tour, given by a professional product trainer from
Germany. “During the tour, the guide gave
an explanation about the design idea of the
Stiebel Eltron stand and started the two-
hour walk through the 1 250m² booth. The
guests were given an overview about all
the innovations and novelties for different

for the South African market,” says Altmann.
The evening was completed with social activities
including a visit to a historical transportation museum
and a joint dinner.
“The future focus of Stiebel Eltron in South Africa will
be the ongoing introduction of energy-efficient water
heating solutions which contribute to the water and
power saving strategy of the country. We will offer a
variety of training to the market to explain the benefits of
instantaneous water heater and heat pumps,” concludes
Altmann. PA
“Stiebel Eltron is proud of its six production
facilities all over the world. The flagship
for us is the Energy Campus at our head
office in Holzminden (Germany). The Energy
Campus is our training and communication
