Foldable scaffold ladder .
As safety is of paramount importance for the plumber and the homeowner , especially with added regulations to the OSH Act , ladders are fine for outside work if they suit the use as per regulations . The new fold up scaffold ladder that fits through a doorway then unfolds to a proper scaffold and ladder is ideal for those pesky geysers with access through trapdoors . Should one be in the roof , and something should happen resulting in both plumber and geyser going through the ceiling the scaffold will avoid damage at ground level to both the customers floors / carpeting and the plumber .
Pipe presses and crimping tools range from 12 to 50mm for PVC and Metal , handheld and hydraulic , the range is comprehensive . Drills have developed beyond just buying a drill with a battery only to discover that the range has broadened so much the drills are purchased and the battery charger kit sold separately to fit the different drills instead of one drill one battery and when wanting to expand the battery is not interchangeable . Some cost more but again think long term . Battery charger kits do not come cheap so the interchangeable one pays off .
Basically , there are three types of threading tools available and considering the important role these play in the life of a plumber one must choose wisely . There is the manual treading machine , the handheld power drive machine , and the stand alone ‘ big daddy ’ threading machines .
Threading machines come in a variety of configurations based on capacity , speed , size , oiling type ( manual or integrated through the die head ) and chucking type ( automatic or manual chucking ). The most common machines have a capacity up to 2 inches and a manual ‘ hammer ’ chuck . Many manufacturers also offer a compact style machine with a lower capacity along with a 4-inch capacity machine
