As part of their engagement, the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) and the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA) hosted the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) at the PIRB offices in Centurion, Pretoria. IAPMO coordinates the development and adaptation of plumbing, mechanical, swimming pool, and solar energy codes to meet the specific needs of individual jurisdictions, both in the United States and many countries around the world. It was a great honour to host the delegation and welcome them to South Africa. While at the PIRB office, lunch was served, giving them a taste of local flavours. Lunch consisted of traditional boerewors rolls with an array of sauces, including atchar and our famous tomato and onion mix. They loved the boerie rolls so much, they even had seconds! The IAPMO team enjoyed their boerie roll experience at the PIRB offices.
