Innovative heat pump technology

Light at the end of the pipe

Rothenberger’ s ROCAM camera head has a 30mm diameter and has over 25 ultra-bright LED lights that effortlessly illuminate pipes with a diameter of up to 150mm. The camera head can be mounted with a 40mm camera head for larger pipe diameters.
Heat Tech’ s heat pumps work on the same principle as air conditioners, extracting ambient heat from the atmosphere, but instead transferring it to water. In a conventional geyser, 1kW of electrical energy produces 1kW of heat energy, whereas with a Heat Tech heat pump, 1kW produces approximately 3kW. As a result, water is heated for approximately one-third of the electrical use of a normal household geyser.
The pump has an environmentally friendly R410A gas refrigerant that is efficient— ensuring optimum output and a water temperature of 60˚C. The Intelligent Controller with LCD screen provides multiple temperature readings of the system and ensures automatic defrosting. A timer function ensures that the heat pump can be set to provide hot water at specific times needed by user.

The camera is robust and is able to resist shock and impact. It also does not put any pressure on electrical connections. Another benefit of the ROCAM is its flexibility. It has a spring that is able to curve up to 90 degrees in pipes up to 70mm when enough stability is provided. An optional 33kHz transmitter can be used to determine the length of the camera head( 90 degrees from 70mm). In small pipe diameters, the transmitter can also be used without the camera head to determine the course of the pipe without a visual inspection.

Innovation in trenchless rehabilitation

Primus Line is an innovative technology for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipes. The system consists of a flexible Kevlar-reinforced liner and specially developed end fittings.
Primus Line is self-supporting and is not bonded to the host pipe. Developed by experienced engineers, the system is suitable for different media, as well as various pressures to suit specific jobs. The Primus Line technology has numerous benefits, including small construction pits, short rehabilitation times, and a low level of impact on the environment.
The suitability for sensitive environments results from the special installation method of Primus Line and its simple handling. The installation is possible in the most confined spaces and with a low level of machine deployment.
