An empowering legislative environment has three objectives with two projects : Objectives : 1 . Creating an empowering legislative and policy environment through change , updates , and advocacy .
2 . Ensuring all ecosystem stakeholders are equally committed to upholding relevant legislations and policies to support the industry through stakeholder management and forums . 3 . Working closely with government at a local and national level .
The two projects are :
1 . Legislation and policy – creating and maintaining an empowering and enabling legislative environment , evaluating , and changing relevant policies and legislation , obtaining buy-in from stakeholders , including : a . Execute current legislative changes . b . Future policy and legislative changes .
2 . Stakeholder engagement – ensuring that relevant stakeholders are on board and up-to-date on policies and legislation , creating an environment that is owned and managed by the plumbing industry collectively , including : stakeholder engagement to map out stakeholders , create forums , build strategic relationships , and engage members on legislative changes .
