She has also noticed how support from others can play a role in growth.“ I’ ve seen positive change. The men now motivate me to do more so I can inspire other women to join the trade. I’ m receiving advice daily on how to improve, and I appreciate that.”
Her message to other young women is direct and full of energy.“ Go get it girl. There’ s nothing intimidating if you believe in yourself. Prove society wrong, do it for yourself, and you’ ll do it with passion and love.”
And, in true artisan fashion, she adds one more practical truth.“ There’ s a lot of money in this industry – you’ ll never go broke.” PA
