Botha continued to introduce a programme that he has been
working on as the pilot in India that primarily is used for sports,
however this can also be applied to the business world and
aims to determine the best outcomes for players when they
are either relaxed or under pressure. When a player is under
pressure for example, they will instinctively have certain traits,
that if they can be identified, will be able to manage a strategy
or behaviour pattern better to produce a better result. This can
naturally also be applied in the business environment.
The session ended with some questions and answers,
whereafter guests were invited to share in a meal and partake
in the networking opportunity. PA
Likening some of his experiences to the business world, one
particular point was made that stood out – as businesses you
need to remain relevant because just like in the rugby world,
you will always be wanted as long as you have something the
coaches need. In business this would be your clients – as long
as you have something they need they will want your product
or service.
