We asked plumbers what the most essential item in their toolbox is . They shared their best tools for the job , as well as advice and words of wisdom .

What ’ s in your toolbox ?

Arthur Classen of AJC Plumbing has two favourites in his toolbox . He uses crescent gas pliers extensively to open toilet inspection covers and cannot do without his angled monkey wrench . “ The angled monkey wrench is really helpful when it comes to accessing all those odd places while working on pipes ,” he says .

Greg Mullins of IL Fraser Plumbing reveals that his toolbox actually contains woodworking tools instead of plumbing tools . He has a passion for woodworking , as well as plumbing and is hopeful for the future of the industry . “ My hope is that we are able to have a united plumbing industry ,” he says .

Jordan Winslow , also of AJC Plumbing says that his inflatable plug is the one tool he must have in his toolbox . He uses it for flood testing of waste pipes and says , “ I like the fact that I can inflate it to any necessary size to get the job done .” PA
