PTE Pretoria did not disappoint entirely !

Following on from the headline , Pretoria PTE , despite intense heat of 35 degrees and a wind that blew in different directions , was successful .
Not one to sugar coat issues , the non-attendance of approx . 150 plumbers and engineers who had pre-registered to attend did place a bit of a damper on the event . Starting an hour earlier was also not a good idea .
Notwithstanding these issues and accepting that plumbers and engineers are busy and are called to emergencies , this did not take anything away from the high quality of business owners and plumbers that did attend . Exhibitors expressed general satisfaction . The IOPSA talks went down well and PIRB list of attendees has been provided to PIRB .
What this does show is that the travelling concept is workable for plumbing and provides a platform way beyond what a static exhibition can offer insofar as engagement is concerned and the high-impact philosophy such as PTE offers .
Let us be fair , the three exhibitions during 2022 were a learning curve for all of us . We certainly learnt many things and are grateful for the exhibitors who joined us on the learning curve to provide a new concept of exhibiting to the plumbing sector . Suffice to say the visitors really expressed their gratitude for reaching out to them . Still more to learn indeed but very positive going forward .
