builders, boilermakers, and all other

especially for you. The Cat® S61 smartphone
is a rugged and durable companion that is

just for the job that you want to do. The Omnifall level gauge is set to vastly simplify the act of calculating falls on

Falls are calculated by simply slipping a normal spirit level through the centre of
the Omnifall and then turning it until the bubble is centrally aligned on the level.
The reading on the Omnifall at that point perfectly illustrates the level.
Built to last, the Cat® S61 smartphone includes
a laser-assisted distance measurement tool,
allowing you to accurately measure areas to
estimate material costs easily. Its FLIR thermal
camera measures temperatures ranging from
-20°C to 400°C and it features a super bright
5.2” FHD display, which is protected by a
scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5
screen and is easily read in direct sunlight. The Omnifall can calculate all the most common falls found on site: 1: 30,
1: 40, 1: 50 or 2%, 1: 60, 1: 80, and 1: 100 or 1% fall. The device is tough,
durable, extremely cost-effective, and can be used by anyone, from professional
plumbers, civil contractors or paving specialists to amateur home renovators.
The phone’s touch screen is optimised for use
with wet fingers or while wearing gloves. That’s
not all: tradespeople will love this device’s
500Ah capacity battery, which means that
staying in touch will never be a problem again.
Its integrated air quality monitor alerts you to any
harmful substances in the air.
Its high-powered torch is ~40% brighter than
standard phones; it has push-to-talk functionality;
and it is drop-proof from 1.8m. As well as being
MIL-STD-810G tested, the phone is IP68 and
IP69 rated, which means that the Cat® S61 is
waterproof (up to three metres for 60 minutes)
and can withstand a high-pressure hose spray. It
is also dust-, sand-, and dirt-resistant.

Save with new pipes that need no
inserts
Rifeng Southern Africa has recently launched the Flowpex 15mm and
22mm compression-type multilayer pipe (MLP) into the plumbing
industry. This Flowpex multilayer piping system offers a strong,
lightweight, and flexible option to plumbers and the DIY market. The
Flowpex MLP and compression fittings have been accredited by
JASWIC for hot and cold water systems inside buildings up to 10 bar.
All compression-type MLPs need to use an insert when installing
to ensure correct usage and that the system will seal and not fail.
Rifeng compression fittings have a built-in insert, thus eliminating the
possible failure of installation should an insert not be used. The fact
