IOPSA national technical manager

The Institute of Plumbing South Africa( IOPSA) is looking for an energetic, honest and reliable person to take up the position of National Technical Manager.

Requirements

• Qualified plumber
• Minimum 10 years’ plumbing experience, mainly consisting of both construction and maintenance plumbing experience
• Contractual knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of all SANS standards and regulations
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Effective and proven project management skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to initiate action
• Problem solver
• Good negotiation skills
• Computer literacy is essential.
Business management experience would be an advantage.
Remuneration R35 000 CTC per month.
The incumbent will be responsible for all Gauteng plumbing inspections, the administration of the national technical portfolio, as well as liaising with the regional chairperson, operations manager and regional inspectors.
The position will be full time and based at the national office in Edenvale, Gauteng.
