The future of bathroom installation and the advantages of pre-fabrication are presented here in a clearly accessible way , with an emphasis on practical issues .
In each case , a complete bathroom ( 10m 2 ) is to be built from pre-fabricated installation systems , including cladding with tiles and the installation of surfacemounted products . The focus of this promotional area is on process-orientated solutions . Here visitors can find out , for instance , how the build-up of a backlog of work can be avoided , and a lack of qualified staff can , to a certain extent , be offset using intelligent pre-fabrication . Valuable additions , too , are the audio guide for smartphones , which will provide more indepth information and the opportunity to book relevant seminars via the website of the VDS .
Valuable Water Forum The Valuable Water Forum is devoted to current themes relating to drinking water hygiene and the safety of heating systems . At the stand of the Federal German Swimming Pool and Wellness Association ( Bundesverband Schwimmbad und Wellness , or bsw ) in Hall 5.1 , visitors will be welcomed in a lecture area with an integral lounge .
Bathroom 4.0 In conjunction with the University of Art and Design ( Hochschule für Gestaltung ) in Offenbach am Main , the German Central Association of Sanitation , Heating and Air Conditioning ( Zentralverband Sanitär , Heizung , Klima , or ZVSHK ) have developed the ‘ Bathroom 4.0 ’ project in the light of digitalisation in the plumbing , heating and airconditioning industries . Their presentation will be given for the first time at ISH . With the help of 3-D glasses , trade visitors to the show will be able to get an idea — in virtual reality — of the students ’ newly developed concepts .
The presentation will be given as a co-operative venture with VDS in the Water Lounge . Sponsoring partners of the project are manufacturers Geberit , Hansa , Oventrop and Pall .
