30 PROJECT Deloitte is consolidating its offices in Waterfall City, the CBD of Waterfall. The development was awarded in a heavily contested tender process, with more than 15 submissions. The almost 43 000m² new Deloitte building, was developed in a 50/50 joint venture between Attacq and Atterbury. Waterfall City is South Africa’s largest urban concept development, designed to provide everything expected of a world-class modern city, with all the conveniences of a leading-quality urban environment. Sound urbanism principles, as well as environmental sustainability is a priority in the planning and implementation of this integrated lifestyle city. Heat pumps were selected primarily because of the space limitations – as there is not enough roof space for solar panels.
