22 WALL OF SHAME PLUMBING Wall Of ShamE Some say innovation, some say clever thinking, and sometimes we just don’t know any better, but it is still non-compliant and carries risk for the installer, the client, and possibly anyone else in the direct area. Most of us will be baffled by the images on this page, but why do we still see installations like these? Masiko Hlabangane, registered plumber Juan Els, Flow Tech Plumbing WhatsApp “This is what I found at a client house: the whole installation is not done the right way. The vacuum breaker is installed on the pressure valve. They should have installed the pressure valve from the main supply as the vacuum breaker is not meant to be installed on the pressure valve, but on the T that goes into the geyser. Found this high pressure geyser, wall hung, with only two feet from a copper geyser's feet, no support holding the bottom.
