Farm & Forest Explorers 
Butler’s free nature class for children ages 2-5
From harvesting carrots to collecting chicken eggs, each Farm &
Forest Explorers class introduces children to key environmental
concepts. “This program offers families with young children in our
local community the opportunity for safe and unstructured time in
Nature,” says Bridgette Downer, Environmental Education Special-
ist. “Activity in the woods and farm enhance place-based connec-
tion and stewardship in our future generations.” This free program,
geared towards 2-5 year olds, is offered on Thursdays at 10am dur-
