7 ISSUE № 20, FEB 2016 Karate Updates The Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation (TTKF) announced that both Sensei John Ramirez (Trinidad and Tobago) and Sensei Paul Clery (St.Lucia) were elevated to 4th Degree Black Belt in Shito-Ryu karate. There grades was issued by Bassai Karate Dojo -International ( BKD-I) and recorded in the Black Belt Registrar of the World United Karate Organizations ( WUKO). Information shared at the Word United Karate Organizations (WUKO) referee workshop, organised by the USA Karate International (USAKI)-New York, was the confirmation of the following Black -Munajj Saviour Bey -3rd Dan and Neal Jaggernath -1st . Dan. Bey has his own dojos in Brooklyn and the Bronx and has over thirty years experience. Jaggernath is from Caroni, Trinidad and Tobago and began his karate in the late 80's.
