Amanda on fire !
Amanda Cameron is a current member of the Trinidad and Tobago National Senior Netball Team.
Her involvement in netball started when her mother introduced
her to the sport at a very young age. In the beginning “I barely
had a choice” she admits, but without regret. : )
Amanda started with the Malta Carib Senators Netball Club but
currently plays with the Fire Service Netball Club. Her appointment to national duty started at age 16 and she has since represented the squad in Antigua, Scotland, Uk and Australia.
Although currently employed and completing a B.Sc in Human
- Ecology at UWI, she aspires to become a permanent fixture on the team. This will mean
being able to stay physically active and fit. She considers the sacrifice worthwhile, as netball
teaches her to be able to work in teams and meet new people from around the world. When
she is not on the court, Amanda loves taking part in outdoor activities such as hiking & going to
the beach.
