Mountain biking has long passed from a little
known sport with a number of paid professionals already doing their part to keep the
sport in the mainstream.
In T&T the sport is administered by the Trinidad & Tobago Cycling Federation and is
currently going through resurgence in interest

biking includes cross country, trail riding, all
mountain ,downhill, freeride and dirt jumping. Apart from bike handling skills the sport
requires endurance and core strength and balance. Globally the International Mountain
Bicycling Association (IMBA) mission is to
create, enhance and preserve trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide. IMBA
serves as an umbrella organization for mountain biking advocacy representing more than
