As we all begin to enjoy the freedom to reconnect with our extended families , friends , and communities , the Montgomery County heritage area offers a wide variety of locations for meeting up and exploring together !
Heritage Montgomery represents over 70 parks , museums , and historic sites throughout the heritage area , many of which are beginning to re-open for visitors . They offer both indoor and outdoor programs , events , and experiences appealing to all ages and interests .
We look forward to celebrating re-opening with a special combined Heritage Days / Heritage Harvest event planned for the weekend of October 16 & 17 , 2021 . Dozens of venues throughout Montgomery County will be open with free events celebrating autumn as well as our unique local history , culture , and natural areas .
