S ome things don ’ t convey

when I say that these two legends have earned some rest !
Having dreamt of this moment for most of our lives , Troy and I planned ahead and bought acreage out West well over a decade ago . It seemed so far away back then , but in the blink of an eye , here we are ! And suddenly , we have so much to do ! We must sell sweet little Fern Cottage on Peach Tree Road here in the Ag Reserve , sell Grandma Jane ’ s Orchard in the Ag Reserve ( for we aren ’ t leaving her behind !), and sell Pop-Pop ’ s house in Delaware . Believe it or not , the actual sale of these places isn ’ t the daunting part . But there are other aspects to this move that terrify me . One frightening aspect is the emptying of so much accumulated cool and sentimental stuff from a lifetime of collecting cool and sentimental stuff . And believe me , we are STUFFED ! If anyone needs some cool and sentimental stuff , please let me know ; I got you .
Arguably one of the worst parts of this ... the part that gives no small amount of melancholy , is leaving our beloved gardens in all three places . Leaving my garden at Fern Cottage will break my heart the most , I think . Because while I ’ ve held the same philosophy at all three places to leave them better

He is so close he can taste it . Thirty-four years in the making , and the freedom of retirement is within his grasp ! By the end of spring , Montgomery County Fire Captain / Paramedic , Commander , and MD Task Force-1 , Urban Search & Rescue Task Force Leader , Troy Lipp , will officially be known only as Mr . Troy Lipp . He and his best friend , Captain / Paramedic Ty Stottlemyer — one of the most highly decorated heroes Montgomery County has ever seen — are retiring on the same day this spring . It is truly going to be a huge loss and the end of an era for Montgomery County … but after a combined 70 years of fighting fires and saving lives , the trueto-life Johnny and Roy are near the end of their watch . Believe me
