In addition to their commitment and promotion of organic farming and gardening , they believe in the values of education , sustainability , volunteerism , and ethical decisions grounded in science-based information . Albert Presgraves has many interests , from sailing to writing to environmental protection . He and his wife Jenny have been organic gardeners for most of their lives . They lived on Peaks Island , Maine for over 30 years , raised two daughters there , while Albert commuted by ferry to the mainland for work , retiring as Town Engineer and Public Works Director for Freeport , in 2016 . They have lived in Freeport since 2015 .
