Mapping Maryland ’ s forgotten heritage : a work in progress . Riverworks Associate Artist Katharine Sutliff , explored the locations of several Native American villages in our area as part of a Riverworks community cohort project led by Christine Rai . During her exploration , she was surprised to learn how many villages were in locations she had frequently visited all her life and how many aspects of our lives today are rooted in Native American heritage . She looks forward to the next project on this subject when she plans on adding more sites and artwork . plenty I autumn harvest 2024 5
