? USED BOOK SALES SUPPORT SPECIAL
PROGRAMMING
Every year the Anderson Township Library
Association holds two used book sales to benefit
the Anderson and Mt. Washington branch libraries.
Last year, the proceeds from the summer sale and
the holiday sale totaled $40,000. This money
allows the two branch libraries to buy items and
pay for programs that are not part of the regular
budget, including computers and software, iPads,
additional books and DVDs, and special programs.
Jeanne Sheppard, center, treasurer of the Anderson
Township Library Association, is shown presenting
a check for $40,000 to Anderson Branch Manager
Katie Greifenkamp and Mt. Washington Branch
Manager Larry Richmond for support of the two
branches in 2013.
