After such a tour, it might be time to take a break and let
the kids run around the Bohemian Garden and find the huge
sculptural peacock slide or go inside to the Donut Playhouse
to find Hong Kong’s largest indoor slide. There are a number
of fun, interactive play spaces inside. At the B2 level you’ll
also find a whole host of kid-centric indoor areas - with
zones for “Body, Mind and Soul” made up of an array of
colours that reflect different moods. The yellow Body zone
features the Donut café and store, the ideal place for kids’
experiential learning fitted with Bubble Power, a large ball pit
for kids to play around. The green Mind zone is a designated
area for kids and families to participate in workshops and
interactive activities and the purple Soul zone features
interactive digital displays to stimulate kids’ creativity. Wow!
If that isn’t enough for one day, K11 MUSEA offers
courses through its K11 Kulture Academy, collaborating
with some of the world’s experts to create top
edutainment experiences:
• K11 MUSEA’s partnership with Le Cordon Bleu includes
cooking classes for parents and kids to enjoy.
• Two workshops based on the award-winning musical
'Matilda' – Music and Choreography and Little Actors and
Actresses Workshop.
• Entering the festive season, Learn and Play for a Merry
Christmas Day, supported by Donut Kids Club, will host four
classes with fun edutainment activities.
• Victoria Playpark offers parenting workshop Playtime
on Sundays and public holidays, where children from 1 to 5
years old and parents can enjoy quality time through a series
of activities including arts and crafts, story-telling, drama
classes and more.
When you realise how hungry you are after all the
exploring, head to the food floors on B1 and B2. The range
of options is just perfect from a casual grab-n-go soup from
Pret or juice from Green Common, to a sit-down meal at
Avobar or a much-needed coffee at agnes. B, to name but a
few. There are some fun kids food shops as well on B2 level.
Come back another day and learn more about K11, a
destination 10 years in the making designed to usher in
a new era of cultural retail which speaks to the growing
consumer demand for naturally immersive experiences of art,
culture, nature and commerce.
