CHRISTMAS
TREES
L
Lack of space in Hong Kong
is always a hot topic and
when the holidays approach
we often have to think of
creative ways to decorate. Christmas is
especially challenging so we’ve come
up with some novel ways to use the wall
space in your home and still capture the
essence of a magical Christmas.
1. Wall decals are a great way to
spruce up your space and there
are many wonderful Christmas
decals out there. We especially
love this personalised one from
Notonthehighstreet.com
2. How about getting creative with
some tinsel and fairy lights to create
a tree on your wall. Ikea has all the
props you will need to build a tree
from scratch and best of all you can
use it again the following year with
some different lights or props.
3. This is a unique way to reuse offcuts
of wood and create a dynamic
centrepiece for your Christmas
gatherings. Most hardware stores
should be able to get you the right
tools to recreate this beauty. Why not
get the kids involved in helping you
paint the different levels of the tree.
4. Feeling artistic? Why not draw a
tree on your wall and use Christmas
ornaments to give it some life. We
love how romantic and magical this
tree looks.
5. A fireplace or mantelpiece would
be lovely, so why not try to create
the feel by using an empty frame
and Christmas decor to create
something truly unique and personal.
You’ll have winter wonderland in
a frame!
