Description: Anfield was opened in 1999, comprising of a Primary School
and two large Kindergartens, whose curriculum is underpinned by the
Early Years Foundation Stage, followed by the English National Curriculum.
Students aged from 2 to 11 years are provided with a high quality and
globally-minded education. Anfield School is a private, independent
Catholic Primary school for boys and girls from Year 1 to Year 6 providing
students with an innovative and exceptional British education. Anfield
School uses English as the medium for teaching and learning. In addition,
there is also a strong emphasis on the acquisition of Chinese (Putonghua)
as a second language.

Curriculum: The school follows the National Curriculum of England and
Wales, providing a broad, balanced and rigorous education. Teaching is
structured to help the children meet, or exceed, the expectations of the
primary phase of education.

Mandarin Curriculum: Our students join us with a range of different
experiences, and we have adapted our teaching and learning strategies

to accelerate learning, our students are taught in differentiated group—native,
near native and non-native.

spaces include a well-stocked library, a multi-purpose hall, a music and
composition suite, an art and design studio, a fully mirrored dance and

group learning activities.
SEN Support: We are an inclusive school with excellent provision for
children with learning differences, both in the mainstream classes, and in
the St. Bosco Centre which caters for children with special needs requiring
a modified teaching programme. We have high expectations for all children
and aim for full inclusion.
