Mandarin Curriculum: The Family Learning House follows the Chinese National Curriculum for Pre-schoolers. Each classroom has its own Chinese teacher who is a part of the class’ full-time teaching team. Children are taught in small groups according to their proficiency levels and age. The programme includes vocabulary extension, poetry study, DiZiGui study, learning to read and write Pinyin and characters, and Chinese Maths. Lessons feature interactive activities designed to engage students in a fun way. Facilities: Montessori classrooms with child-size kitchen and certified Montessori learning materials, piano in each classroom, outdoor playground, seasonal vegetable garden, ballet room, and parent library. Fees: (2018-19) RMB 135,000 per year Admission: We welcome students of all nationalities, religions and social backgrounds. We accept new student applications year-round and admit students as space permits. Parents will be contacted in June pertaining enrollment if no immediate opening is available prior. Parents: The parent is the primary educator of the child.
