Description: Harrow Beijing offers a British-based international
education to students aged from 2 to 18 years. The school is known for

Curriculum: The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), British Preparatory
Schools and International Middle Schools, (IGCSE), (AS Level) and (A Level).
Curriculum: ISB follows a standards-based curriculum that draws upon the
best elements international curriculum models for their Prek 3-12 classes. For
high school students, ISB offers a full IB diploma programme or IB certificate
options, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Calculus and Chinese.

600-seat theater, Black Box theater, rehearsal space, and studio stage, 2
library-media centres. A pharmaceutical grade (H-14) air filtration system
ensures exceptionally high air quality in all our indoor areas.
SEN Support: Our learning support services help students with learning
challenges to become more independent learners. Specialists help
students to strengthen their work habits and work on the remediation of
skills so that students can benefit from the school curriculum. Classroom
and learning support teachers work with parents to address the specific
needs of our students. In some cases, students require short-term
interventions or accommodations and are offered learning support for up to
a semester. When students require learning support over a longer period of
time, we create an Individual Learning Plan (ILP).

Inspection: Two Governors from the Harrow School Board of Governors
in the UK visit the School in Beijing three times a year to ensure quality
control and guidance from the Harrow family.
Transport: School buses are available.
Parents: We keep in touch with parents through digital platforms, termly tutor
consultations and reports, and whole School events. Every parent and staff
member is automatically a ‘Friend of Harrow’ when they join the School.
University Information: Our students go on to top universities all around
the world. Full-time university counsellors allow students access to
specialist in-house knowledge of universities and colleges in the UK, North
America and other areas of the world. Through this counselling, Sixth Form
students are guided to the right course for them in colleges and universities
across the world. For those students who wish to pursue an Oxford or
Cambridge application, preparation begins in the final months of Year 12
and includes seminars, tutoring and interview practice.

Admission: We accept applications throughout the year and offer places to
students where available and in accordance with our admissions policies.
We recommend that students start school with their peers in August or at
the start of the second semester in January. However, we understand that
families move throughout the academic year and do our utmost to make
these transitions as smooth as possible.
Transport: ISB coordinates an optional bus service with an outside contractor
to transport students to and from school. The annual fees for this service
varies from RMB 10,290-RMB 16,680 depending on the distance travelled.
Parents: ISB has a very active Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
