Health benefits on your Placenta
through exercise
New research in The Journal of Physiology found a possible
explanation for the benefits of maternal exercise on a baby’s
development. The study found that exercise improved the
function of the placenta and the metabolism of the mother.
Exercise during pregnancy is known to be beneficial for both
maternal health and fetal development and importantly, they
found that the babies were not born larger (which is frequently
associated with obesity and metabolic diseases in later life).
