Festival Beauregard
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the annual
rock, pop, indie and electronic music festival set
in the stunning Beauregard Chateau in Normandy.
This year’s headliners include Depeche Mode,
Jack White, Macklemore, Nothing But Thieves and
Simple Minds. The festival is open to all ages, with
children under 12 being admitted free of charge.
While parents rock out, children can head to the
festival’s Space Kids area where they can build an
instrument to create their own music. Ticket price:

Latitude
With a line up featuring Alt-J, The Killers, Solange and The
Vaccines, Latitude is the summer family festival you won’t
forget! To keep the under 18s amused, there are three
separate areas for kids, teens and families to have fun
together. Latitude aims to create a mini-festival for children
with everything from science to literature, drama and
music to visual art. Children up to four years old can enter
for free, five-12 year olds need a ticket, teenagers between
13-15 require an accompanied teen ticket and 16 years
and over require a standard weekend ticket. Ticket price:

Doune the Rabbit Hole
Doune the Rabbit Hole (DTRH) is an intimate,
independent music & arts festival. This year’s
festival will include a huge kids' area, spoken word
tent, workshops, a cinema and delicious local food,
ciders and craft ales. All workshops are open to
the whole family – from puppy handling to extreme
origami there is a world of new experiences
awaiting you to share together. DTRH was also
voted one of the top five best family friendly
festivals by the Guardian. Ticket price: £70-£95.

Colours of Ostrava
There are more than 350 events on the festival’s line-up this year,
including theatre, film, workshops, discussions, art, design and
performances by Kygo, N.E.R.D, Jessie J, Joss Stone, and George
Ezra. All children under 140cm enter for free, and there’s plenty
to entertain them. There will be theatre performances, sports
workshops, dance workshops and yoga classes for little yogis.
There will also be a DIY programme with participants helping to
build a large pirate ship. The ČEZ Family Park traditionally features
a guarded children‘s stage where children can enjoy games, toys,
balloon ponds and handicraft workshops. The comfort of mothers
and babies is not forgotten with a nursing tent, equipped with
all the necessary items to make them feel comfortable.
