Ballet Classics for Children:
Carnival of the Animals
Carnival of the Animals is the ideal introduction to a live ballet
performance for children as young as three years old. Featuring a variety
of characters like the Little Swans from Swan Lake and The Sleeping
Beauty's Puss-n-Boots, the interactive educational programme is full of
action, drama and humour. Carnival of the Animals will also include a live
ballet ‘petting zoo’ in its six performances at Hong Kong Cultural Centre

Macau International Fireworks Contest
Firework displays are out of this world and almost magical, no matter how
old you are. This contest features the best in the world competing over five
evenings of light and sound. Two teams participate each evening, with a
different theme every night. This year will feature teams from the Philippines,
Korea, Japan, Belgium, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy and China.
The competition will take place on 1, 8, 15, 24 September and 1 October in
front of the Macau tower from 5-11pm. The event will have a range of food,
performances and games, with free entry for all.
