Ever thought about going Vegan? If you need some convincing,
go and watch PLANEAT at Grassroots Pantry on the 8th
October. This documentary outlines the important issues surrounding meat
and dairy consumption and presents a convincing argument for the West
to reconsider meat and dairy consumption all together. The film is what
inspired the Chef of Grassroots Pantry, Peggy, to open the restaurant
in the first place. The showing will be followed by a session with
Shelley Lee Davies, the director of the documentary. Tickets cost
$280 and include two house beverages and bar snacks.
