his month at Playtimes we get right into the party spirit with our celebration
issue. Inspired by the
15th anniversary of the magazine – yes, it really has been running that long – the imminent festive season
and parties in general, (our ultimate
party guide is full of ideas on the best venues, caterers,
entertainers and suppliers for all your party needs) the pages are packed with fun and excitement.
Fashion shoots with kids are always exciting and this month was no different. Our shoot took place at the
stunning Maggie
& Rose family members club at The Pulse in Repulse Bay, and our models (Caleb, Isaac, Molly,
Jack, Maggie and Peter) had a blast! A big thank you to Imi at Zzzoom for capturing the fun.
Speaking of models, we revisited the hundreds of fashion shoots Playtimes has done over the
years and caught up with some of the stars to find out what they are doing now. Being honest, we could have filled the
magazine with just this feature! It’s been really great to see how much the kids have grown up and ask them of their
memories from fashion shoots of the past. We
are keen to catch up with all our past models, so
please do get in touch if you participated in a fashion shoot in the past. We would love to hear from you.
Continuing our celebration theme, Jennifer Deayton gives us a humorous take on Thanksgiving, explaining the
traditions and meanings. There is some festive fun in the air, too, as we get ready for Christmas. Check out our
advent calendar feature, showing some of the best ways to countdown to Christmas – we’ve even got five
